Setting Up Your GymNav Profile

Step by Step of How to Set Up Your GymNav Profile

1. Log in to your GymNav profile. If you do not have a GymNav profile click here for instructions on how to become a user. 

2. At the top bar click your User icon for the drop down menu and click “Profile”

3.  Once in your Profile click “Edit Profile” in the bottom right below your profile picture.

4.  Using the desktop version of GymNav, you will be asked to use your current location. This will allow GymNav to find Providers in your local area. 

5. Fill in your First, Last, and Display names. If you selected GymNav to use your current location, your location will populate on the map. 

6. If you didn’t select to allow GymNav to use your location, you may enter it manually. 

7. Enter your phone number (this will not be shown to users). Entering your phone number is for Providers to be able to contact you regarding their listings.

8. Select a profile picture so that Providers know what you look like when entering their facility. This will help Providers engage you properly with a warm welcome and provide you the same curtesy as their members. 

9. The About you section was designed for the best User experience. Some of GymNav’s specialized providers require a level of experience to provide their services. When a User submits the transaction, a notification will sent to the Provider that the User is requesting to use the facility. The About you will help the Provider understand the User, and be able to communicate directly through GymNav’s messaging platform for further details or instructions. The About you will also help Users connect socially with others through the rating and messaging system to grow the GymNav community. 

10. In the User Account Settings, Users can change their Username, Email, and Password. (Users may also access this location to permanently delete their account)

11. The Notifications section is where Users adjust their Newsletters informing them of new Providers and listings. Users can receive emails from the GymNav cofounders about the latest GymNav happenings and allow email notification when messages or transactions occur regarding their account. 

12. Access the Payments tab to update your Payout preferences. Users have the choice of four payment methods through GymNav. 

Option 1: Payment through their connected Facebook account and attached credit card.

Option 2: Payment through the User’s bank using Stripe Payment Services.

Option 3: Payment through the User’s PayPal account

Option 4: Payment with their credit card through PayPal Payment Services. 

13. Stripe Payment: Users can input their Bank Account information through GymNav’s secure payment method, hosted by Stripe Payment Services. Fill in First Name, Last Name, Birthdate, Country, and Street Address.

14. Fill in Routing and Account Number followed by the last 4 of the Users Social Security number. **GymNav does not store any Users banking information, all banking information is hosted by Stripe Payment Services**

15. PayPal Account Payment: Click the “Connect your PayPal account” button. 

16. Click the Login button to access your PayPal account information.

17. You will be brought to PayPal Payment Services. Sign in to connect your account and update your User Profile.
